Discovery of a 400 years old warship
On April 24th 1961, the Swedish warship Vasa was salvaged. Constructed from 1926 to 1928 for the Swedish king Gustavus Adolphus, Vasa carried 48 cannons, almost 2 000 pounds of gunpowder and 500 gilded sculptures expressing the power and glory of the king.
